Hey, thanks for the feedback! The problem here was that the face on the right is actually a 'wide oval' shaped face, whereas the target is a perfect circle. So the game code considers them to be different shapes, but at a glance they look very similar. Sorry about that!
This issue has actually been rectified in the newer version (which is available only on Steam for now: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1144150/Singled_Out/). The wide oval face shape has been replaced with a different shape with more of a chin and eyebrows.
Unfortunately not. I use a few plugins which I can't share as it's against the T&Cs of the license. I don't really have time to clean up a version without those plugins for release I'm afraid.
Really nice game! I really liked the concept of this and the retro vibe. I got to level 19 when I played this. This has a lot of potential and would be so much fun to compare scores with friends or online. Overall a very fun game :D
I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)
Fun game! I played it quite a few times and managed a highscore of 5811 by level 14. An obvious addition would be a highscore list, but I suspect you ran out of time.

Really fun game! Your idea was somewhat similar to mine (spotting an outlier in a crowd), but our games still ended up being pretty different.I love all of the crazy designs for the faces, and the game feels super polished overall. Good job!
